Back safe ‘n’ sound in Tokyo after an accidental prolonged stay down at J-mum’s place. We intended to come back last night after dinner - but the Boy and I had got carried away with redecorating her living room. We had originally planned to just lay the new carpet, but after we moved everything out we noticed how grotty the walls were (they hadn’t been painted in 15 years or so) so before we laid the new carpet. We predicted it would take a couple of hours - but we were wrong - it took about 4 and a half, plus the Boy decided to build a new TV board (can’t think of the English word O_o). But all the aches and pain were worth it - it looks fantastic! She was really pleased and went on a manic throwing out frenzy - we had to hold her back for a bit.
We rode the new bike down - it was freezing but generally fun (except when it rained - man raindrops feel like pins at 80 kms an hour). The Boy has not stopped talking about the bike for about 3 days - still it was really handy not having to carry all of the inevitable omiyage back in strategically placed bags around the body (the Majesty has considerable storage space under the seat). Am really pleased about one pressie - an electric seat warmer! Yeah let’s warm butt-cheeks!

I’m not sure I could use a seat warmer—I’d think I was sitting on the toilet. Who knows what might happen?
Oh cool! YOu have the bike now! I wanna see!!!! I wanna ride!!!!!!!
