gokiburi attack
So much for a nice peaceful dinner. The Boy jumped up and over the couch and me in the middle of it claiming he’d seen a coackroach the size of an elephant crawling under the telly.
Have spent the past half an hour with a rolled up Metropolis trying to catch it.
Am on “accompanying him to the toilet” duty.
Am now sitting here with the rolled up Metropolis in the back pocket of my jeans, prepared to spring and slay the foul beast to save him.
Good grief.
Update Saturday 12:40am: The enemy gokiburi was sighted as it flew up onto the painting behind my desk. Was dispatched with the rolled up Metropolis, secured by tissues, then flushed down the toilet. The apartment has now been secured.

Sounds like a perfect application for the Metropolis.. (It is way too scratchy to be good toilet paper!!) See you tomorrow night!! Am feeling better today.. should be in fine form for tomorrow!! ^^
