It always amazes me how many people rally around when something bad happens. I’m so grateful for all the assistance we’ve received so far, and would like to gush on about it a little (~_^).
Kan-chan and Shunsuke were on the bike behind the Boy. They stayed with him until he was discharged from hospital. There was talk of even coming to fetch me from Tokyo. They’ve also been checking up on him since then. Also even though for the first time in ages I wasn’t home - I was the first person he contacted after the accident. Unfortunately he didn’t have my keitai number at the time. I know that may sound odd but it made me feel good in a way that they recognize that I am his partner and didn’t freak out about any potential language difficulties.
Younger Brother has been great. He is now the unofficial chauffeur and has been taking the Boy to his hospital visits and so on. Also he has kept his spirits up and even hung out with me when the Boy was asleep on Sunday.
JMum got in lots of trouble from the boys for the way she handled the messages to me. She said that she was even thinking about not telling me until the Sunday. I reminded her that that would have resulted in an extremely angry Mi-chan so she did good. JMum has been doing what she does best - over-feed us and nag (~_^).
Jonathan and Sachiko - for being tired and relaxed yet calming me down on the phone when I was completely freaking out and making sensible and calm suggestions for a plan of action. And for making sure on the Sunday that we were OK.
Tracey and Kristen - for their messages on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and most likely everyday for the next 6 weeks.
The dude from where the Boy works who come out with a truck at 1 am in the morning to collect bike bits. And also his boss for not freaking out about him being out of action for 2 months and being very chilled about there being the remnants of a Yamaha Majesty on his company property temporarily.
Everyone else who has sent messages and kept checking in with us.
I love you guys.

In good times and in bad my friend.
We love you, too. And Yoshi as well.
Well considering all the crap that has gone on - bring on the good times baby!
