I’m a vicitm of new technology. Working away for hours at the computer as resulted in my eyesight becoming weakened. As of today I should wear glasses when working at the computer - or anything to do with screens really.
The biggest shock is that things on the screen have become really focused - I hadn’t realized just how much I had been working out my little eyeballs.
It’s my first experience with glasses. My Mum and younger brother always wore them until recently when they both had laser surgery done. So now I’m the only one in the family who has to wear them.
Due to popular demand here’s a pic. Unless you see me slaving over a hot keyboard though you probably won’t see me in them usually…

I guess I’m a little bit embarrassed about having to start wearing them. Anybody picks on me in the schoolyard though and I’ll give ‘em a blood nose but…

Nice!
You look smarter, somehow.
Oh that’s just an illusion…
So why have you encouraged people to pick on you??
Now if only we could see the glasses you say you’re wearing!
My but aren’t you a purty young thang!!
I like them! So ironic that Mas isnt wearing them anymore and now you have to!
You do look smarter tho, its a great illusion.
4 eyes ::)
