One of my Nanna’s favourite sayings was “Like salt & pepper - has to be in everything”. Sometimes I feel that way about me and the net. Checking through my bookmarks I realized just how much of a web presence I have compared to a lot of people I know.
I have a blog account on most of the major ones - Blogger, LiveJournal and now vox. Mainly though I only update this one (that you are reading right now) - although on the vox one I’ve been posting a pic I especially like from my flickr account to highlight it.
I have an account and lurk occassionally at most of the well known community blogs/link aggregators (whatever the term is supposed to be, but the main one I participate in is MonkeyFilter.
You can send an email to gomichild@(any major free email service).com and it will most likely get to me.
As for social networks I have accounts at orkut, friendster, mixi.jp and linked in. I don’t have a personal MySpace account - but there is one for marshmallow spike.
Although I’m an early adopter generally I just have a play for a while and then fade away, coming back again once every few months to check my account is still active. I don’t blog at any of the social network type sites - or in fact participate much - I don’t think they are really my kind of scene. And besides - I don’t have all that much time for just playing around online.
I do post photographs pretty frequently at flickr - unlike social networks, this is more a creative outlet which is why I’ve kept at it. Also I just joined JPG Mag - which is photographs again - but I used to belong to the flickr group which I always found to be pretty interesting.
last.fm is a really cool idea - but I generally prefer to listen to music playing on the stereo - or rather whatever Broken Boy has playing in the other room than on this computer - unless it’s my turn to spin some tunes on radio free #mofirc - will have to make an effort to multitask that one.
Damn what else? As far as webrings go I’m not really into them - which is funny because not only am I a member of the JapanBloggers Webring - I also run it. Plus there are a few mailing lists I subscribe to - but very rarely post a message.
And I haven’t even begun to think about the sites I have made in my professional capacity, or my numerous personal ones. Whiich usually have links back to me somewhere.
I’m going to have a hard time disappearing if I want to.....

Pepper and salt indeed. I always remember you using that about the latest drama starlet or singer… Ah, natsukashii.
