Finally managed to catch up with Kristen today, which meant extra Birthday pressies! She gave me one of those squelchy bean bag cushions (a red one of course) and this amazing book.
You see this is a hand made book about me. Called The Souzouzone Zone it features a collage of what she believes appears in an average day for me. I must say though that I eat a lot healthier than she thinks I do!!

She means 1am here. It’s true that some of my best ideas come to me later in the evening/earlier in the morning when I seem to be running on all cylinders. I often lie in bed thinking about a design and have to get up just to try and work it out a little (OK often sit there and work out the whole thing I admit it)...

HA! The tables were turned today - I had gotten up at 6:30 am and had a shower to be in the office early for a meeting. It was Kristen who had to dash into the shower this afternoon when I called her to get together!
Still most of the book was a pretty accurate account of an average day. And I do tend to eat at the computer and have a half smoked ciggie sitting next to me. I’m also well known for calling people when I’m on the run (which is featured at 4pm) - although I think that’s because I’m a fair walk from both Nishi-Ogikubo and Ogikubo stations - and the walk is neither pretty or interesting so I talk to people to pass the time.
Still with these latest changes in my schedule Version 2 of The Souzouzone Zone may have to be released soon (~^)...

Im looking forward to seeing this book! Does it include a page on the very sloshed 12:15am phone call detailing the events of the day and complaints about people on the train whilst stumbling home from the bar where the meeting was? Thats the page i want to see. That one cames just before the 1:00am “Start the day’s new development work” one.
Way cool Kristen, well done!
Those 12:15 phone calls will be featured in volume 2: The Souzouzone Guide to Networking.
That’s so cool - I wish someone would do a book about me! Sigh….. Beep!
