My Mum owned a gorgeous cottage which she had built in Elliston, a coastal town 2 hours drive from Port Lincoln (which is a 35 minute flight from Adelaide).
Next year in December we are going there.
I can understand why Mum fell in love with the place. It’s unspoiled and clean. Go for a drive along the cliffs and you’ll see sculptures by a local artist. Between July and October it’s whale watching season.
You are all welcome. We can stay at the wonderful Elliston Caravan park which has nice little cabins for 5. The owners’ son Tim will put dip on your chips for you.
