So the basic story is - I had sites spread over 3 servers. Some sites on Tod’s (who has patiently hosted them for quite some time), others on icdsoft and the new ones on media temple.

The icdsoft stuff was about to expire, so I decided to take the big step of just moving everything to one damn central place. Hence all of the shuffling of urls and so on. Also I’ve gone from general hosting to a dedicated virtual server - so lots of the first couple of months was playing sys admin. It wasn’t as terrifying as I thought it would be.

Also I decided it was time to separate this blog from souzouzone, which will be developed into a portfolio site with it’s own blog in the next few… er goodness only knows when (~_^).

There is a token Movable Type version of the blog content kicking around at the old urls, but all new content will just be here on the Expression Engine version.

The design is still in development. At the moment we have a jokey web 2.0 layout. Who knows what direction I will move in next month? Some functions are still being worked on so there will be some funky things going on. Main priority right now is to make sure the content is accessible (and hell maybe even add some new content!) and get all the functions together, then the design I will keep for the next few months.

Time is limited! And there is a bunch of php issues still to fix on the JapanBloggers Portal so people can actually submit and edit again.

On the work front it’s all busy, busy, busy. But I’m kinda looking forward to blogging again after quite a break. However it’s almost 4am now and time to attempt sleep…..

* Note: tags and categories are two messed up areas right now. Comments should be working ok though!
