Congratulations to Mie (kokochi.com, formerly Tokyo Tidbits) and Dav on the birth of their daughter.
We were kept on the edge of our seats there for a while as Tesla decided to wait until past the due date, and Mie lead us astray with blog entries titled ”She’s Here!” (which was a reference to her Mum arriving not “Gargle").
Anyway it’s a relief to know both Mie and Tesla (and Dav too of course) are doing well. For a while there it seemed like Tesla was never going to appear and Mie would be pregnant forever (~_^).
Also thanks Mie for letting us share your amazing experience by proxy via your blog. Rest assured we are now all too terrified to do it ourselves....

Thanks so much for watching over us. It’s been an incredible trip so far, but each day is a step further and we are indeed getting the hang of things. I’m feeling better and better...less bloated so I can see my old self a bit now.
We’ll be in Tokyo in September...and would love to see you! Will send details around then, OK?
hugs,
m
