Welcome Tesla Rhea Yaginuma!

by MJD-S

Congratulations to Mie (kokochi.com, formerly Tokyo Tidbits) and Dav on the birth of their daughter.

We were kept on the edge of our seats there for a while as Tesla decided to wait until past the due date, and Mie lead us astray with blog entries titled ”She’s Here!” (which was a reference to her Mum arriving not “Gargle").

Anyway it’s a relief to know both Mie and Tesla (and Dav too of course) are doing well. For a while there it seemed like Tesla was never going to appear and Mie would be pregnant forever (~_^).

Also thanks Mie for letting us share your amazing experience by proxy via your blog. Rest assured we are now all too terrified to do it ourselves....

  • Thanks so much for watching over us. It’s been an incredible trip so far, but each day is a step further and we are indeed getting the hang of things. I’m feeling better and better...less bloated so I can see my old self a bit now.

We’ll be in Tokyo in September...and would love to see you! Will send details around then, OK?

    hugs,
    m
